fMRI

The fMRI machine sends strong magnetic signals through the body. Deoxygenated blood is more magnetic than oxygenated blood, creating a snapshot of blood flow in the brain. fMRI is different to the images doctors take via MRI scanning, but can also be used in diagnostics.
